stilts girl

Probably my latest doll is always my favorite, but this girl is my favorite now. She has been in my head for so long and at last I can see her completed. She is for my final critique for sculpture class.

our baby tree

We are so busy now with the new house and not really sure when we are going to be moving and so we got this little tree. Luckily Amelia loves it so much. She is decorating it herself.

Sam comes over to play

Josh sweetly entertains.
Doing chores!

new toys

Josh got me a new Ice Bot and a Dunny from Kid Robot. I am so lucky!
James got me the best thing ever. It charges and plays ipods. My favorite part is that the clock sets itself using satelite or something. F-ing brilliant.

great books

These are images from Goldie the Dollmaker by M.B. Goffstein. The story is so magical and the drawings so plain. You must find it and read it.(Thank you Tracy)

My mom gave me a Japanese woodblock print calendar. Each image is a little story.

solid gold!

James took apart my computer to fix it for me and while it was apart I soaked the case in denatured alchohol and repainted it GOLD instead of white. It looks cooler than this picture, but whatever.

My brother Jonny and his wife Jenny brought little D into our family. He has a wonderful personality and cute as a button!

James and are restoring this huge old house in Ypsi. It was built in 1870 or so and is in a style called French Second Empire. It has been student housing for a long time and needs some loving. See more pictures of the poor thing here.
